Terms of Use

1. Accepting these terms

By downloading or using Pom, you agree to these terms. They supplement Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement; Apple’s applicable terms control if there is a conflict. If you do not agree, stop using and delete the app.

2. Free app and Lifetime Pro

Pom is free to download. The free version includes keep-awake, free-duration sessions and the Minimal rest theme. One Lifetime Pro purchase unlocks Pomodoro focus, stats and every other rest theme. It costs ¥18 in China; prices and taxes elsewhere are those shown by the App Store at checkout. This is not a subscription.

3. Previous paid-download users

If you paid to download Pom from the Mac App Store before it became free, you receive Lifetime Pro after Apple verifies the original download record, with no second purchase required. If access does not appear, confirm that you are using the original Apple Account and choose Restore Purchases in the app.

4. Purchases, restoration and refunds

Apple processes every purchase through the Mac App Store under its payment and storefront rules. Family Sharing is not currently offered for Lifetime Pro. You can restore eligible access with Restore Purchases in the app. The developer cannot charge or refund you directly; Apple handles refund requests and decisions under its policies.

5. License and acceptable use

Subject to these terms and Apple’s license rules, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use Pom. Except where applicable law expressly allows it, you may not reverse engineer the app, bypass purchase or entitlement checks, resell or rent it, maliciously disrupt it, or use it for unlawful activity.

6. Availability and disclaimer

Pom is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep it reliable but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free operation or suitability for every workflow. Do not use keep-awake or timer features as the sole safeguard for safety-critical, medical or other high-loss situations. To the extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss.

7. Updates, termination and changes

We may update Pom for compatibility, security or experience. Your license may end if you materially breach these terms. Changes to these terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use an updated app means accepting the updated terms. A routine terms update will not turn a verified Lifetime Pro entitlement into a subscription.
